Kathy mitchell

Kathy has been working with MYOB software for over 10 years, completing MYOB Certified Consultant Training in 2009 and Xero Certified Training early in 2011. 

Kathy is a bit different from your typical Accountant.  Whilst Kathy is analytical and good with numbers, she prefer to be hands on, working with customers to find the best solution.  Kathy likes to keep things as simple as possible and supports her customers in getting the best out of the software and their business. Kathy has managed a wide range of businesses, including two of her own, utilising MYOB & Xero programs.  

Kathy knows a wide range of inventory and job management programs so can give unbiased advice on the best solution for your business.  Kathy's extensive practical business experience, teamed with her technical knowledge of MYOB and Xero, ensures an excellent outcome.

Kate POMARE

Kate has a variety of knowledge and skills our clients find extremely beneficial. With a Bachelor in Management and two business certificates Kate has an extensive grasp of the business world.

Kate is experienced with MYOB, Quickbooks, Vend and Xero, she enjoys working with clients in these platforms to ensure clear and consistent reporting.

Kate also has a strong background in Marketing.  This has added a new element to the Better Way Ltd team assisting our clients with building Shopify e-commerce websites, mailchimp and providing marketing support.

Sam De Villiers

Sam has extensive experience as a financial controller for 10 years ago in Auckland. Owning a successful business helps her to relate to our clients along with working in admin and finance for small and large NZ businesses. Sam’s strengths are working with small/medium businesses from startup to management accounting.

Sam is a Workflowmax advisor, certified Xero Advisor, certified Xero migrations and certified Xero payroll advisor. Sam is our go to for numerous accounting  and office software packages.  

Being part of the Better Way team means Sam can use her skills to help businesses function Better whilst having time with her family.

Vicki Turner

Vicki has worked in the bookkeeping industry for over 30 years, the latter 8 years in the beautiful Bay of Plenty.  Having become Xero certified in 2014 Vicki loves working with Xero software to help small business owners with the administration side of owning a business so they can get back to doing what they love. 

Outside of the office Vicki plays golf, enjoys lots of walks with her puppy, and seeing what beauty beholds the World.

Janine Sandison

Janine has been doing Administration/ Bookkeeping for over 20 years, she has a strong Automotive background. Janine works with MYOB, Quickbooks  and Xero (Advisor Certified). Janine enjoys doing the day to day admin/ bookkeeping jobs and helping to free up business owners precious time by finding easy systems that work for the owners, managers and staff.

Janine has a  small business of her own and uses Xero as she finds it the most suitable software program. Outside of the office Janine goes to markets and works on her olive grove.
